It's a shame that the restaurants have just closed. I miss our little steakhouse!

A super great steakhouse, rustic furnishings go well with the delicious rustic steak with a baket potato. I am happy to be with you again for dinner.

Lovely restaurant! Convenient parking nearby. A varied menu, and what is important, very tasty! Cozy atmosphere and pleasant service! I highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant !!!

The service is friendly and the food was very good. Despite the extra work caused by Covid19, hygiene was taken care of, not even dust was on the window sills - very nice! My little one was with us and there was an extra children's menu that could be painted and crayons were provided - very good! What I didn't find were the toilet signs, but good - I could have asked. The toilets were very clean and the area is nicely designed. We had a lovely evening here and will definitely be back!

Very lively but also classy restaurant. Both friendly staff and high quality and very tasty food. I can only recommend!

Unfortunately a bad experience. At first we had to wait a long time because a private conversation with an apparently regular guest is more important than serving. Then a stale ginger ale was served. Chanterelles with bacon and leek were ordered with a Wiener-style schnitzel with chanterelle sauce and French fries. The schnitzel was delivered with french fries and chanterelle sauce. When asked, they said the chanterelles are in the sauce. But the bacon and leek were missing. With my wife everything was extra on the plate, only the fried potatoes were very dry. And we wondered why at the best lunchtime there were only 4 guests in a steak house with a lunch menu.

Very pleasant atmosphere, the food Is very tasty and finely prepared. The decoration and everything in the restaurant is top notch. I would recommend it to everyone. Another big plus is that the menu always has something new to offer.

The food was good. The service was great. Very nice and fast service without appearing rushed. We recommend.

There were four of us there on 08/07/20, and the food was great! The steaks are just right and the salmon on spinach is also very good. Since it was very warm, we sat on the terrace, which was very pleasant. The service is friendly and always ready to say something. We always like to come back here👍👍

We were here for the first time yesterday. The reception and the accompaniment to the table was very reserved and cool. The female waitress at the table was very friendly. The menu is very extensive and somewhat confusing, a little less would be good. I had a fillet steak, which was grilled to the point, taste first choice. My wife had a fish fillet, which was also very good. The white wine Pinot Grigio, should not be ordered, tastes like stale washing-up water, then a beer.

Priced slightly above average. The food is good and the quantity is at least sufficient. In the case of individual dishes, one wonders why all of this has to be put on the plate in this combination; here less would sometimes be more. Service is attentive and friendly.

Always delicious! Also highly recommended during corona times, because there is plenty of seating outside. Weather must of course play along spielen

Very tasty and the steak was really english ... to the point. Price performance great. We will be back.

Was OK. The food was tasty and the portion was sufficient. Good price-performance ratio. We will go there again. New boss (broom) returns well.

At the end of May we were guests in a hotel in Altenholz. Actually, the plan was that we wanted to eat elsewhere, but after difficulties there we found a place here. We were shown a table without any problems and the order from the evening menu was taken. After a short waiting time our meal followed, which was prepared "1A". I can safely say that we are happy to have dinner here. We thank you for the friendly service, which also made special requests possible at short notice. Very nice atmosphere with great food. I recommend everyone to eat here once! :)

Some of the staff are rude. I used to go there for the dinner, today one of the staff put me on a table, after some minutes other person from staff came up and screaming told me that table was reserved, full reserved. I told she that themselves had placed me there, and she told "wait and we'll see". I was unconfortable, everbody at the restaurant was looking at me. I have then gone away. I had my dinner there for more than 10 times, the food is good, but there are also other really nice places to go. Block House is a way better IMAO.
